Actually I am glad that you asked me about my home experience. It actually started
this past Spring when I saw your billboard about Jessco Homes and I decided to
check your company out. I had sold a home and was living in an apartment with two
young children (not an ideal thing) but the other half of the story is that my
parents were looking to retire down here. My father came to town first and went to
Felder Creek to see some of the homes and was impressed.
My mother came down from Ohio also about a month later and found Carriage Lane. She loved Carriage Lane. At one point we were all going to get a home together and we loved the Kimberly with the finished attic but I realized it would be great to have two separate homes. My father came this past October to help me decide what to do. We spent all week looking at other builders, their house plans, looking at homes that were being built. It was the end of the week and we were not happy with anything we found. I remember that Friday morning my father saying that he did not see any way he could afford to have the kind of house he wanted to retire in, besides the fact we could not find a home for me, and we were both discouraged. We decided to stop and look again at Felder Creek. I walked again through a Dana II and the Lord told me that this was my home-I loved it immediately. My father is a woodworker (by hobby), an engineer by trade and thought the house was beautiful and well built. To me also, I looked at the facts. For the same price I could get a two car garage (the other builder''s home would have been one), a smooth top stove (was extra for the other builder), a spacious kitchen with plenty of cabinets (the other had hardly any), a spacious master bath with a garden tub with jets (the other hardly had a standard bath in the master suite), and a home with tons of character in the bay windows downstairs and upstairs (the other home was so very plain). Though I love my house plan the best, all of the homes in my neighborhood are beautiful, well built homes, each with some unique character and charm.
When you compare Jessco with other builders it will be obvious that the quality and attention to detail is there from the floor plan to the finished house itself. I have a beautiful "Dana II" and my parents are eagerly looking forward to building a "Jude" in Carriage Lane next Spring which will be ready when my father retires next December. This has really been a year, and an experience, to remember and be thankful for that my Lord took care of me and everyone I love in such a complete way through Jessco Homes. Thank You Jessco Homes!
